The ColaLUG met 9 July 2009 at 6:30PM.
Shay Walters gave an excellent talk on quickly developing graphical user interfaces using Glade and GTK.
Ben talked about Slidy, a way to give a presentation developed in a simple text editor.
The meeting ended at 8:00PM.
On 30 July 2009, the ColaLUG met online using Dim Dim web conferencing to discuss August's topics.
Jerry, Bill, Shay, and Ben were present. Jerry hadn't been to a meeting in years, but liked the dial-in technology. Shay could not get the Dim Dim software to run in his browser because his Flash was too old.
The dial-in feature of Dim Dim is extremely useful, allowing people to attend remotely without a computer.
Shay said he could talk about DD-WRT, Linux software for routers.
The meeting ended at 7:10PM.
