The Columbia Linux User Group met on 10 September 2009 at 6:30pm.

In attendance were Shay, Kendra, Louis, Lewis, Lewis, Robert, Kevin, I, and new member Ashu.

Shay gave a good talk on the Qt development environment, based on C++.

Kendra talked about her new site Con-Techie.com, a site that collates all the open source conferences into one site. Approximately 150 open source events happen every month. Email her if you want to go to a conference in Austria. You still have to pay plane fare.

The meeting ended at 8:15, and some members went out to the IHop.
