The ColaLUG May 2010 meeting got rolling at 6:35pm at the usual location.

Attendees: Frank, Shay Walters, Kendra Schaefer, Ed, Jim and Kevin and 3-4 other new members.

Jim Salter, a Columbia-based IT consultant, kicked it off with some round table introductions, then launched right into a lecture about getting Linux widely adopted in small business environments.

Stanley Green with Clemson University then gave us an overview on their work to involve the citizens of Summerton in the continued improvement of the area's educational systems. Stanley asked that ColaLUG help put donate some computers running Linux to a proposed computer learning center in Summerton.

If you have hardware or user support time to donate, please contact Stanley Green sgreen@clemson.edu.
